Dr. Allan Shefrin is a board certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). There he treats children of all ages with all degrees of illness, injury and medical concerns. As part of his practice he has performed thousands of procedures in children including casting, laceration repair, abscess drainage and foreign body removal. He began his career at CHEO in 2010 after completing General Pediatrics training in Calgary and Pediatric Emergency Medicine training in Vancouver.

In 2023 he trained in performing circumcisions with Dr. Lisa Rosenkrantz using the Mogen clamp. Dr. Shefrin looks forward to expanding this part of his practice.
