My goal is to make this ceremony as meaningful as it can be for your family. If there are family members or traditions you want to incorporate in the ceremony please let me know.

 

For roles:  grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles, close friends may be used

Families may have candlesticks, a tallit or other meaningful object they wish to incorporate in the ceremony.

Traditonally, the following roles are needed:

• * Kvatter/Kvaterrin: One or more people who bring the baby into the room

• Candle Lighters

• * Sandek: person who holds the baby during the Brit Milah

• Holder for naming

• Kiddush 

• Hamotzi
